Rechettes d'huiles et d'encens au Dieu

Recettes d'huiles et d'encens aux différents aspects du Dieu Cornu (en anglais) :

 

Cernunnos Incense #1
- 2 parts Bistort
- 1 part Camomile
- 2 1/2 parts Cedar
- Few drops Cedar oil
- 3 parts Oak Bark or Moss
- 2 parts Vine
- 1 1/2 part Lavender
- 1 part Sandalwood [powdered or ground]

 

Cernunnos Incense #2
- 1 part Pine
- 1 part Sandalwood
- pinch Valerian
- 1/2 part Cinnamon
- few drops Musk oil

 

Cernunnos Incense #3
- 1 part Oak leaves
- 1/2 part Sandalwood
- 1/2 part Allspice
- 1/2 part Coriander
- few drops Cedar oil
Some versions of this recipe also include Carnation, but for some reason do not specify how much to use.

 

Cernunnos Incense #4
- 2 parts Gum Arabic
- 1 part Bay Leaf
- 1 part Orange Peel
- 1 part Sandalwood (yellow)
- Enough Cernunnos oil to bind

 

Horned God Incense #1
- 2 parts Benzoin
- 1 part Cedar
- 1 part Pine
- 1 part Juniper
- few drops Patchouli oil

 

Horned God Incense #2
- 7 drams tincture Benzoin
- 1/2 dram Sandalwood oil
- 1/2 dram myrrh oil
- 1/2 dram frankincense oil
- saltpeter
- 1 oz pwd Charcoal
- pinch of dried asafoetida
- pinch of dried blessed thistle
- pinch of dried peppermint

 

Herne Incense
- 4 parts Patchouli herb
- 4 parts pine needles (or 1 part pitch and 3 parts sandalwood)
- 2 parts Gum Arabic
- Enough Herne oil or a mixture of patchouli and pine oil to bind

 

Silvanus Incense
- 4 part PIne needles (or 1 part pitch and 3 part sandalwood)
- 4 parts Juniper berries
- 3 parts Gum Arabic
- Enough Silvanus or Juniper essential oil to bind

 

Cernunnos Oil
- 10 drops Bay oil*
- 8 drops Orange oil
- 2 drops Sandalwood oil
- 1/2 oz Sunflower oil

*Note: Some folk use either musk or patchouli oil.

 

Horned God Oil
- 2 parts Frankincense
- 2 parts Cinnamon
- 1 part Bay
- 1 part rosemary
- 1 part Musk

 

Herne Oil
- 9 drops Patchouli essential oil
- 6 drops Pine essential oil
- 6 drops Juniper essential oil
- 1/2 oz base oil

 

Silvanus Oil
- 9 drops Juniper essential oil
- 6 drops Pine essential oil
- 1/2 ounce Olive oil

 

Cernunnos Bath Salts
- 1 cup salt
- 8 drops synthetic musk oil
- 6 drops amber oil
- 8 drops synthetc ambergris oil
- 4 drops patchouli oil
- 2 drops pine oil
- 3 drops rose geranium oil
- 2 drops clove oil

 

Herne Ritual Spray
- 20 drops of Patchouli Essential oil
- 4 tears of Frankincense
- 1 Tonka Beans
- 1/2 teaspoon patchouli leaves
- pinch of orris root, chopped
- 1-ounce atomizer bottle with cap
- Perfumers Alcohol SDA Blend 39c

Fill bottle with ingredients in the way they are listed. Fill to the top with perfumer's alcohol. (Grain alcohol will work, but will leave a more vodka-like scent). Place cap on tightly and place in a dark place for 2-3 weeks. Shake once or twice a week, with your intent in mind when you gently shake the bottle. When Ritual is spray ready, do not remove herbs, they are an inherent part of the spray.

 

Cernunnos Oil Burner Blend
- 2 drops Sandalwood EO
- 2 drops Cedar EO
- 1 drop Carnation EO
- 1 drop Allspice EO (also known as Pimento oil)
- Pinch Coriander leaf
- Pinch Dried Oak Leaves

Pour 1/8 of a cup base oil (vegetable oil) into a clean small sterilized jar, and add the oils listed above. Add remaining ingredients. Close lid. Swirl to mix (or gently rock back and forth). Label jar. Add blend to oil burner for use in ritual.

 

Horned God Annointing Oil
- 2 drops frankincense EO
- 2 drops cinnamon EO
- 1 drop bay EO
- 1 drop rosemary EO
- 1 drop musk EO

Pour 1/8 of a cup base oil (vegetable oil) into a clean small sterilized jar and add the oils as listed above. Swirl to mix (or gently rock back and forth). Add blend to a small dram bottle and label. For use in anointing self and/or ritual tools.

 

Cernunnos Protection Brew
- 1 part Pine needles
- 1 part Caraway
- 1 part Bay
- 1 part Basil
- 1 part Anise

In a red-glass bottle half-filled with water, steep the herbs in the Sun for a day. Strain and add to bath water, or anoint your body for personal protection. Also, anoint protective amulets and talismans.
